Does anyone know what the ornaments are called that are like japenesse or chinese girls?
They are cream, brown and red. Got some from H samuels last year, but can't find them this year, need the name so I can google them.Thanks x

Do you know what type of stone these ornaments are carved from?
The stone is very hard and smooth and has been carved into pots with leaves and birds decoration. The colour is reddish brown with black spots. my mum used to have one of these when i was young and id like to get my hands on one they were either japanese or chinese carvings of miniature trees and buildings etc. very intricate and frame in black laquered wood behind glass.can anyone remember these?

Does anyone know how to put an image onto a glass ornament?
Ok, so my mom had this ornament with my great aunt's old mill on it and just the other day she accidentally dropped it and was really upset. Since it is Christmas, I wanted to replace it for her, but I really have no idea how. Any suggestions? I would prefer it if I could get the image on a ball, so it comes out the same, but if it is too difficult, i guess i could do a flat surface ornament. Thanks so much to anyone who can help I'll be more specific... I want to find a place who can do the image transfer...Like the nice, digital way I.E. not glued, but thanks for the suggestion I also want to have it done on a round ornament, and all I can find is for flat ornaments. If that's not picky I would prefer if it was under $50 or so, thanks to anyone who can answer and thanks to those who have already, but that's just not quite how I want it done 2nd one was too expensive . I'm looking for a christmas ornament that looks like a reading type book, or a pen and notebook thing.?
I have a friend who's a writer. Shes working on another book right now. I wanted to give her a Christmas ornament as a gift that was a book. like the kind you read. Or something like a tablet and pen. Something to do with writing. I put searches in and get books like a catalog for ordering Christmas ornaments. How do you get a clear glass ornament that has been painted to look shiny. The paint looks like a matte?
I want the ornaments to look shiny not matte finished and dull. Last year I used a poly clear coat finish but this time is smeared and ran the paint.

For people that saw the George Lopez rascsist lawn ornament show?
O.k, I just saw the George Lopez episode where the plotline was a guy that had a snoozing guy in a sombrero as a lawn ornament along with a nome. The whole plot is that the guy is " rascist." for that. I have seen so many lawn ornaments which are supposed to be the backend of the extremely ample backend of a white woman... usually in a flowered dress countless times...I have also seen many that are supposed to be the male counterpart peeing on their bushes...gaudy? definately...but rascist? I guess this isn't an important question, but one of those insomniac ponderings. I am NOT looking into getting ugly lawn ornaments...I really didn't mean to put this in the " sculpture" section...did I mention I have insomnia P Feel free to answer...
