I have some antiques & collectibles, what is the best way to get a good price for them?

Question: I have some antiques & collectibles, what is the best way to get a good price for them?

I stopped into a store last August when it had become obvious the economy was in trouble. The store owner said no one was buying anything. This is in a conservative area though. I notice it has dried up in this area while other areas are booming....so I hope that is why that owner was so gloomy & it is not the case everywhere....I have an antique clock...chair, ...some matchbox cars...old records, etc...Now I thought about getting a kid I know to put them on ebay...I thought I could pay the packaging costs & split it all with him. Is that the best way? What is the best way?

Ebay or thrift stores

Best way is when you make it BEST for you. Your thinking is right just do it the right way, small & effective in a frisk market, where people go hunting to purchase. I always go to 2nd Hand Market to see & buy what I like. Just do it, always at low cost condition.
