What is this art project and how do you do it exactly?
I remember when I was younger we did an art project. This art project you had a pin and you would lay a piece of card stock paper the thicker kind on the ground. We had these papers that had dots on them. You would lay the paper with the dots over the card stock paper and you would poke the holes and when you lifted it up to light it was awesome Does this project have a name? And where could I find the some paper that makes a picture using holes? Could I just use a dot to dot?

What can an art education major do in/around pittsburgh?
My girlfriend plans to major in art education while in college. Besides teaching, what other jobs can an art education major choose from? She also likes the idea of being able to work at a museum, would this degree fulfill the requirements needed to work at one?Also, does the degree emphasis come into play any for substitute teachers? Later in life she plans to do other things but likes the idea of being able to kinda work part time and subbing seems like the best choice. I've personally never seen a sub that actually knew the area that they was subbing for so would it matter that her area of emphasis is art or would she not be eligible for substitute teaching?

I'm writing an essay on different pieces of art at this exhibit in my town?
and I'm having a little trouble coming up with ways to describe the artwork. It's supposed to be at least five pages and based on opinion. Help?

In art class we had to make a project that has a message behind it. I did a tree made of popcans and had ripped cloth, wrappers, lids and other garbage on the ground surrounding it. Where should I look to take a good but fairly cheap art class in DFW?
I have always drawn my entire life with a little bit of dabbling in painting, but as an adult, I find it extra hard to find time to sit and create art. Because of this, I've been thinking about taking an art class. Any suggestions on where I should go for a good but reasonably priced art class? I'm on an assistant salary so I don't make a whole lot of money. Also, I live south of Dallas... Anyone have any suggestions?

GCSE Art essay A grade?
I need to write an essay for GCSE Art, an " Artist research and picture analysis" essay.I was just wondering, does anyone know how to achieve an A grade on this essay? What it entails is basically picking a painting and writing about it. Questions include Do you think the artist has a message for us in this artwork?What is your personal opinion of the artwork?What feeling does this artwork give you when you first look at it?We also have to write about the formal elements in the painting. Art Assignment Questions?
So, I'm a homeschooled high school student, and I'm taking Art as my elective.I'm just a bit confused on what the assignment is asking me to do so I was hoping someone could help me I'd really appreciate it. The first part of the assignment says make a portfolio of figure studies that include examples of 2 contour drawings... I've tried looking up contour drawings and I keep getting different definitions and such. It's not a blind contour, but I was wondering are all the lines connected throughout the sketch or not?The second part says draw a single page of 4 or 5 gesture drawings... So, are gesture drawings of the hands, or can they be full body poses? What are they exactly?The third and final part says also, draw two extended posed figure studies. I have no clue what they mean because isn't this kind of like a gesture drawing? Or not...I just don't know.So, please, any help would be appreciated Thank you so much.
