How to make my own portfolio for art school?
i'm doing IB in school and i'm in my first year, and i've chosen film as my group 6 in at standard level, and i really regret not choosing visual arts aswell.although i am terrible at drawing and skill painting and the conventional art forms, i very much enjoy photography, and all the other art forms that this course embodies.i think i want to go to an art school for uni, or at least attend a course pertaining to art, such as digital media or communication design.however to do this a portfolio of my art work is a required, but since i do not take art...should i take art classes or something? or do it by myself? because doing that would require lots of resources...anyone got any advice or recommendations on what i could do?thanks.
I have a broken glass that I want to turn into an art project?

We learned him in school. The paintings I know are one with a lady with a knife and a frightened look with a glowing pumpkin on the table a river with a harp on a nearby rock, a ripple near the harp in the water, and a boy and dog in the background lastly some people in a boat riding across the ocean on a railroad track, with a castle in the background. Let's say I've asked the original author for permission to use his drawings to make my own fan art. If I were to draw one of his characters in a different setting or pose, am I able to license my work as my own? w Creative Commons license
I plan of shooting art repro photos of large flat and 3D artworks. I'm using a D90. What settings are best?
should I lower saturation and raise sharpness? I will be using a fixed 35mm lens, for optimal sharpness. I plan on possibly making reproduction posters of the art. Will 12mp at 100 iso, w raw large image files be enough for fairly large posters? Should I set the camera to matrix metering and then use the automatic bracketing feature? Please offer any suggestions that u may have. Thanks in advance.
Where can i find pretty art prints to frame myself?
I hate pictures that are just flowers or plain with shapes and colors. I just framed a nice picture of Trafalgar Sqare and love it. Any place to get prints of nice paintings like that, and not all this modern art stuff? I want to frame pretty painting prints for my new home.
